Choose the Bobcat S70 for cargo ship clearance operations at inland river ports – small size, big impact!

The Bobcat S70, the smallest in Bobcat's skid steer loader lineup, is designed for operations in extremely confined spaces. Its compact size (only 90cm wide) and ability to turn on the spot make it widely used in construction demolition waste removal, livestock farm manure removal, and other similar scenarios. However, the S70's flexibility, strong maneuverability, and reliable durability are increasingly attracting the attention of discerning business owners across various industries.

Previously, cargo ship cleaning operations at inland ports typically utilized medium to large-sized skid steer loader such as the Bobcat S16 and S550, highly efficient for pushing and shoveling sand and grain within the holds of 3000-5000 ton vessels. However, for many more inland waterway transport vessels under 2000 tons, current cleaning solutions cannot balance cost and efficiency. This is where the spotlight shines on the Bobcat S70 for cargo ship cleaning operations.

1. The Bobcat S70, weighing only 1.2 tons, can be easily lifted into the hold by various port hoisting equipment without any safety risks. In the video, the sand grabber places the S70 into the hold as steadily as if it were a toy car.

2. The S70 precisely and meticulously gathers the river sand scattered in the corners of the hold into piles using its sliding characteristics.

3. The design of cargo ship holds must consider high load-bearing capacity, resulting in many curved surfaces and reinforcing ribs in the hull structure. This shape presents considerable challenges for unloading operations. The S70's superior maneuverability makes handling complex conditions a breeze.

4. Loading river sand inevitably brings in mud and water. Some hold bottoms are mixed with mud and sand with very little adhesion. The Bobcat S70's four-wheel drive sliding mechanism and fully enclosed hull structure make this a piece of cake for it.

5. The Bobcat S70 is 1.9 meters long (excluding the bucket) and 90 centimeters wide. It can turn smoothly on the spot and easily reach the target position by following the operator's instructions in the bottom space of the bucket, without having to adjust the machine back and forth and waste time.
